AI Credit System for Minform
Minform uses a simple credit-based system for AI features. Every time you use AI to generate or modify a form, a small number of credits are used. This helps keep usage fair and predictable across all plans.
Credit Allowance by Plan
Plan | Monthly Credits |
---|---|
Free | 10 credits |
Pro | 100 credits |
Business | 250 credits |
Your credits automatically renew each month based on your plan.
How Credit Pricing Works
Credit usage depends on what you ask the AI to do. Here's a quick breakdown:
1. Simple Chat (0.2 credits)
Used for basic questions or small help messages that don't generate forms.
Example: “How do I add a dropdown?” → 0.2 credits
2. Form or Quiz Generation (Dynamic)
Used when you ask AI to create a new form or quiz. The cost depends on how many elements are generated.
Formula:
1.0 (base) + (Total Elements Ă— 0.2)
Examples:
- 1 page with 6 elements →
1 + (6 Ă— 0.2) = 2.2 credits
- 20 pages with 20 elements →
1 + (20 Ă— 0.2) = 5.0 credits
This system keeps pricing fair and predictable. You pay based on the number of elements, not the number of pages.
3. Form Modifications
When you update or refine existing forms using AI.
Action | Cost | Example |
---|---|---|
Logic changes | 1.0 credit | “Fix total tax calculation” |
Translations | Elements × 0.1 | “Translate 15-element form to Spanish” → 1.5 credits |
Simple edits | 0.25 credit | “Delete confirmation page” or “Add short text field” |
Only the most expensive action in a single command is charged.
For example:
- Change logic + add field → 1.0 credit
- Translate + delete field → 1.0 credit
4. Image Generation (1.0 credit)
Fixed cost for AI-generated images.
Example: “Create a 1024×1024 banner” → 1.0 credit
Credit Protection
To prevent incomplete or partial generations:
- You need at least 2 credits to start a new form or quiz.
- Before generation, AI estimates the total cost. If you don’t have enough credits, it stops early and tells you the estimated cost.
This way, you always know what to expect with no surprises.
Errors & Failed Generations
If something goes wrong during AI generation, like a network timeout or internal error, we don’t deduct any credits.
Credits are only charged when a generation finishes successfully.
